Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 10, 2026

Beta Program Notice

WorkTogetherAI is currently in closed beta. This privacy policy is provided in a simplified format during our testing phase. Once we have gathered sufficient feedback from our beta testers, we will publish a comprehensive, legally reviewed privacy policy that fully addresses data protection standards. Your privacy matters to us, and we are committed to getting this right.

1. What We Collect

To provide our service, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password when you register
  • Profile details — any additional information you choose to add, such as your bio, skills, or profile photo
  • Payment data — processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your full card details on our servers
  • Uploaded content — documents and files you submit for validation jobs
  • Usage information — basic data about how you interact with the platform to help us improve the experience

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Facilitate job postings, bids, and validation workflows
  • Process payments and manage escrow transactions securely
  • Send you important notifications about your jobs, payments, and account activity
  • Improve our platform based on how the service is used during beta

3. How We Protect Your Data

Even during beta, we take security seriously. The measures we have in place include:

  • All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted with SSL/TLS
  • Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text
  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for additional account security
  • Database connections use SSL encryption with certificate verification

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the following parties, and only as necessary to operate the platform:

  • Stripe — for payment processing and escrow management
  • SendGrid — for sending transactional emails such as notifications and password resets
  • Other users — limited profile information is visible to facilitate marketplace interactions

5. Your Rights

You have control over your data. At any time, you can:

  • View and update your profile and account information through the Settings page
  • Control your privacy settings, including what information is visible on your public profile
  • Manage your email notification preferences
  • Deactivate or permanently delete your account through the Settings page
  • Request a copy of your data by contacting us directly

6. Looking Ahead

As we move from beta to a full public launch, we will work with legal professionals to develop a comprehensive privacy policy that meets all applicable data protection regulations. We will notify all registered users when the updated policy is published and provide a clear summary of any changes.

7. Contact Us

If you have questions or concerns about your privacy, or if you would like to request information about the data we hold, please contact us at emailer@worktogether.ai. We take every inquiry seriously and will respond as quickly as possible.
